Simon is a senior physiotherapist and director at Lakeside Sports Medicine Centre. Simon has a particular interest in hip joint and groin based pathology, as well as the management of chronic and recurrent soft tissue injuries in athletes.
Simon has extensive experience working in elite sport. He spent four years at North Melbourne Football Club from 2011-2104, during which time they had the highest player availability rate and lowest soft tissue injury rate in the AFL competition. Following a stint as head of medical services at Melbourne United in the NBL, Simon has worked with the Collingwood FC since the end of 2018. He is currently employed by Collingwood FC as a physiotherapist and high performance consultant.
Simon has also completed his Master of Exercise Science (strength and conditioning) at Edith Cowan University and is passionate about maximising exercise loads whilst dealing with injury. Given his experience in elite level sport Simon is able to provide cutting edge assessment and treatment techniques to ensure that patients are able to perform at their best.
